C2 Hub open house with red and blue graphicsYou’re invited to visit Metropolitan State University of Denver’s newest program in its new location. The Classroom to Career Hub, comprising Career Services and the Applied Learning Center, will host an open house Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to officially debut its services and its space.

In January, Career Services staff moved from the Tivoli to the Administration Building to be closer to the Applied Learning Center. These two offices, which have been historically separate, are now operating together as the C2 Hub.

“We’re thrilled to be in the same building, which marks the beginning of the transformational process that will take the concept of the Classroom to Career Hub to a strategic and holistic career-development experience for students,” said Executive Director Adrienne Martinez. “In this move, we’ve effectively tripled the footprint for the historical Career Services team.”

Being physically closer will also allow staff from both offices to move from collaborative colleagues to a fully integrated and cohesive team that will execute the vision of the C2 Hub.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to stop by both offices to learn about the C2 Hub’s services, explore the spaces in Admin 270 and 325 and grab a bite to eat. Students who stop by both offices will be entered to win an iPad or other prizes.
