In the past, First Year Success has recognized first-year students in FYS courses who maintained a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. Roadways would like to keep this tradition of celebrating academic achievement alive with the first Roadways Honor Roll event — and faculty and staff are encouraged to spread the word.
As Roadways is dedicated to serving all students on campus, we would like to recognize all Metropolitan State University of Denver students each semester who earn a 3.0 GPA or higher. The Roadways Honor Roll event gives high-achieving students the opportunity to win raffle prizes such as priority registration, scholarship funding or a parking pass for one semester.
This week, students who earned a 3.0 GPA or higher last semester will receive an email congratulating them and encouraging them to stop by one of our four Roadways front desks to enter the raffle. Tables will also be available in the Administration Building and Central Classroom on Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m. through Feb. 18 so that students can easily verify their GPA and enter the raffle. A student’s GPA will determine how many raffle tickets they receive.
If you work directly with students who earned a 3.0 or higher last semester, please encourage them to visit our front desks to enter the raffle. Raffle submission will be open Friday through Feb. 18.
To help promote this event, please feel free to print and distribute the event flyer.
