Submit your projects for the MSU Denver Day of Giving, and volunteer for the Colorado Rockies 50/50 Raffle.

It’s time to start preparing for the third annual MSU Denver Day of Giving on March 21 — and the MSU Denver Alumni Association is looking for campus projects needing support. The campuswide Day of Giving allows alumni, faculty, staff, students and community members to show their Roadrunner spirit by supporting campus projects through the MSU Denver crowdfunding website, ELEVATE. 

Organizations from across the campus community are encouraged to submit a project proposal for the opportunity to shine a spotlight on their projects and raise funds for specific project needs. Proposals should include a project title, a brief description of the project, a marketing plan and a fundraising goal of less than $3,000. Applications will be accepted through March 8.

Projects can be submitted by student organizations or academic departments and include but are not limited to:

  • Equipment
  • Guest speakers
  • Trips and special events

… then get rowdy with the Rockies!

Baseball season is right around the corner, and for the second year in a row, the MSU Denver Alumni Association is the official 50/50 Raffle partner of the Colorado Rockies!

The Alumni Association is seeking volunteers to help sell 50/50 Raffle tickets at all Colorado Rockies home games. Volunteers earn $200 per game to contribute to the MSU Denver department or program of their choice in exchange for a six-hour commitment that involves selling tickets starting two hours before game time through the end of the seventh inning. Volunteers will also receive an MSU Denver hat and the opportunity to win free Rockies game tickets.

Volunteer opportunities begin April 6 and continue through the baseball season.
