A is for Access

Our weekly highlight of the letters in CADRE: Access to transformative educational communities.

Inspired by the students we serve, many of whom are low-income or first-generation, MSU Denver prides itself on being an educational institution that provides access to those who are eager to learn. Our self-confident academic community breaks down traditional boundaries and takes responsibility for meeting the challenges of access to education in the 21st century.

As we noted last week, each letter of the CADRE acronym reminds us of a shared, core value. Together, they represent the fundamental tenets of the University’s mission – and what it means to be part of the Roadrunner community.

Access into that community is multifaceted. By lowering barriers and empowering individuals, Roadrunners transform themselves and those around them.

A – Access
