In anticipation of the upcoming accreditors’ visit, we’re looking back at stories that remind us what it means to be part of CADRE.

“MSU Denver’s mission is to provide a high-quality, accessible, enriching education that prepares students for successful careers, post-graduate education and lifelong learning in a multicultural, global and technological society. To fulfill its mission, MSU Denver’s diverse university community engages the community at large in scholarly inquiry, creative activity and the application of knowledge.”
These big ideas frame what it means to be a Roadrunner. And because the ideas are so expansive, it’s important to remind ourselves how they affect our everyday lives.
That’s where CADRE comes in.
Representing a core set of shared values, the acronym helps us bring life to bold ideals. By thinking about each of the letters, we connect the goals of our vision, mission and strategic plan to day-to-day operations.
So with the upcoming Higher Learning Commission accreditation visit, we thought it’d be helpful to revisit stories that exemplify our journey to becoming the preeminent public urban university in the nation.
On Mondays over the next few weeks, we’re picking different Roadrunner articles to profile each letter of CADRE.
