Your opportunity to craft the MSU Denver of the future
Faculty and staff are invited to provide feedback on potential realignment structure pros and cons, modifications and other issues.
October 29, 2018
Following a Sept. 19 presentation on the question of possible academic department realignment, Metropolitan State University of Denver academic departments are currently engaged in providing feedback on four potential realignment options.
Provost Vicki Golich, Ph.D., is leading an effort to ensure the University considers all ideas regarding a collegiate restructuring, including alternatives to those pictured here. As part of this effort, faculty and staff also are invited to consider and provide feedback on the following questions:
- What are the pros and cons of the structure the President’s Advisory Council on Academic Excellence and Student Success proposed to adapt MSU Denver to future opportunities and challenges?
- How might you modify this structure and why?
- What other issues should President Davidson, Provost Golich and the Board of Trustees consider?
All comments must be received by Ann Sanders, executive assistant to the provost, by Nov. 16 or by submitting your ideas and suggestions anonymously to the Office of President via the Idea Catcher submission form.
Proposals and other recommendations are outlined in more detail on the President’s Advisory Council on Academic Excellence and Student Success Sharepoint page. The “June Report” is the most recent overall summary document.
