Student showcaseMetropolitan State University of Denver faculty and staff are invited to get off campus and get inspired. The Applied Learning Center is accepting RSVPs for the Community Bus Tour, which will take faculty and staff on a tour of two key community partners: the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Denver Botanic Gardens.

The Nov. 9 tour aims to help MSU Denver faculty and staff connect and network with potential collaborators and find inventive ways to engage with the community. After the tour, participants will brainstorm and debrief over lunch provided by the Center for Teaching, Learning and Design.

After lunch, participants can peruse student presentations included in this year’s Student Impact and Innovation Showcase. The showcase highlights student projects, original artwork, and presentations on impactful internships or community-engagement experiences.

The bus tour runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and space is limited. Those interested need to RSVP to Timothy Meeks, civic engagement program manager for the Applied Learning Center, by Nov. 2.
