2. "13th" documentary screening

On the heels of author Anthony Ray Hinton’s campus visit as part of the 1 Book/1 Project/2 Transform project, dive deeper with a free screening of “13th.” Sponsored by the Center for Equity and Student Achievement, the documentary explores the “intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the United States.” Contact Juan Gallegos for more information.

3. Department of Music Visiting Artist Series performance

Award-winning classical guitarist Ioana Gandrabur is the latest performer in the Department of Music Visiting Artist Series. She’ll be performing selections from Weiss, Guiliani, Turnia and more. 4. “Cuban-American Boom of the 1990s: The Female Novelist” presentation

This Saturday, Associate Professor of Modern Languages and the Service Learning Faculty Associate Graham Ignizio will present “Cuban-American Boom of the 1990s: The Female Novelist” at the Ross-Cherry Creek Branch of the Denver Public Library.
