This skill could be invaluable

Civilian trauma training prepares faculty, staff and students to provide life-saving assistance.

Facilitated by Denver Health’s Paramedic Division, a two-hour National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians course will teach participants basic life-saving medical interventions.

Participants will learn evidence-based, life-saving bleeding control techniques that can dramatically increase casualty survival, such as bleeding control using gauze and tourniquets as well as how to open an airway.

No previous medical training is required. Seating is limited, so please register in advance.
