students collaborating at deskMetropolitan State University of Denver is submitting an institutional grant in response to the Colorado Department of Higher Education Request for Proposals for grants related to faculty adoption of Open Educational Resources.

OERs are teaching, learning and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual-property license that permits their free use and repurposing by others. Open Educational Resources include full courses, course materials, modules, textbooks, streaming videos, tests, software and any other tools, materials or techniques used to support access to knowledge.

The grant program targets high-enrollment and high-material-cost courses. If you have an idea for a good candidate course, please contact Karen Meyer in the Provost’s Office by Oct. 22.

Stay tuned for other OER-related opportunities at MSU Denver.
