Girl Scouts of Colorado salutes Davidson
University president will be honored as a Woman of Distinction for her personal and professional contributions to the community.

Metropolitan State University of Denver President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., has made a significant impact on the MSU Denver campus in the past year. Her efforts are being recognized more broadly as she is one of 10 women to be honored with the Girl Scouts of Colorado 2018 Women of Distinction Award.
Award winners were selected by a peer committee based on their professional and personal leadership within the Denver community. The Girl Scouts of Colorado issued a statement saying the awardees are “shining examples of corporate, civic and philanthropic leadership and serve as role models for our female leaders of tomorrow.”
Davidson and fellow awardees will be honored Oct. 2 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information on attending the event, please contact Heidi Books.
