Reminder: Share your feedback on Board policy

The MSU Denver President’s Advisory Council on University Policy is reviewing the Trustees manual and needs your feedback.

The Metropolitan State University of Denver President’s Advisory Council on University Policy is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Board of Trustees policy manual. The Council plans to submit “policy on policy” recommendations at the President’s Cabinet and Board of Trustees October meetings and invites all MSU Denver faculty, staff and students to weigh in.

The Council is responsible for assessing current policies, offering “policy on policy” recommendations, recommending revisions to the University Policy and Board of Trustees manuals, and recommending areas across the University where policy authority can be delegated to lower levels.

Drafts of the proposed Policy and Procedure Enactment Policy, Freedom of Expression Policy, Academic Policy Enactment Policy and Faculty Employment Handbook Policy are available for review in SharePoint.

The Council will meet Sept. 25 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the President’s Office Conference Room, Jordan Student Success Building 440A, and all staff and faculty members who would like to provide input are welcome to attend.
