SCALE course application deadline this Friday

Faculty should submit materials to teach Student Centered Active Learning Environment courses in JSSB to Jeff Loats.

Applications to host spring 2019 semester courses in the Jordan Student Success Building’s Student Centered Active Learning Environment are due Sept. 7. As in the pilot program, faculty that employ high-impact, evidence-based teaching techniques in lower-division general studies courses are encouraged to apply.

Details on the SCALE program, as well as background and changes made based on feedback received from the pilot program, can be found in the attached announcement. Faculty approved previously and last year's Teaching Excellence Award winners only need to fill out the basic course information in order to be approved.
