For the first time in its history, Metropolitan State University of Denver will host a formal presidential investiture ceremony — and you are invited!
On Sept. 7, faculty, staff, students, representatives from other Denver universities and friends of MSU Denver will gather to celebrate the investiture of President Janine Davidson, Ph.D. An investiture is a formal ceremony that confers the authority and symbols of high office, so get ready for pomp, circumstance and lots of Roadrunner pride.
The investiture ceremony will take place Sept. 7 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the King Center Concert Hall. An Inauguration Soirée will follow on the Jordan Student Success Building lawn. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP.
In the spirit of inclusivity, Inauguration week will also feature a variety of other exciting events that will bring together people from across the University, city, state and country. For more details, visit the Week of Events calendar.
