Sign up now for the 2nd Annual Roadrunners 5K

Prep for the big event with weekly fun runs, then join the Alumni Association in supporting MSU Denver student-athletes Oct. 6.

Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to join the Metropolitan State University of Denver men’s and women’s cross-country teams and the MSU Denver Alumni Association for the 2^nd Annual Roadrunners 5K on Oct. 6 at Washington Park.

The first 100 registrants will receive a Roadrunner Athletics T-shirt, and race day will include a fun run for kids ages 12 and younger. Proceeds from entry fees will benefit the MSU Denver cross-country programs.

If you’re a current runner, a former runner, a sometimes runner or a first-time runner, there are even fun training opportunities. Director of Alumni Relations Brandi Rideout and Alumni Relations Coordinator Katie Mnichowicz have started a running group that meets Wednesdays at noon in front of the Dazbog near the Jordan Student Success Building. All abilities and speeds are welcome.

The Roadrunners 5K is part of Fall Alumni Weekend, which will include Roadrunner Casino Night, an alumni softball game and more. Join the Alumni Association for some or all of the weekend’s festivities.
