Not many universities can boast on-campus restaurants with globally inspired menus featuring local meats, produce and craft beers. Even rarer are campus restaurants that also provide students with firsthand interactive restaurant-management experience while supporting valuable scholarships. Degree Metropolitan Food + Drink does both — and it’s offering a new fall happy hour full of tasty options.
Degree Metropolitan Food + Drink gives the Hospitality, Tourism and Events students of Metropolitan State University of Denver real-life experience as they train alongside professional restaurateurs from Sage Hospitality. Diners play an important role as all meals enjoyed and dollars spent at Degree Metropolitan Food + Drink ultimately support the MSU Denver Foundation, benefiting student scholarships.
In addition to the regular menu full of items such as juicy burgers and fresh salads, Degree Metropolitan Food + Drink is now offering special happy-hour deals Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m., which add even more value to your faculty and staff discount. A selection of beer, well drinks and house wine is balanced by happy-hour favorites such as nachos, chicken wings and sticky Brussels sprouts. So round up your friends and colleagues, and celebrate a successful first week of classes. It’s for the students!
