Partner with the Auraria Library Instruction Program to help your students become critical users of information.

Do you ask students to critically engage with information, use reliable sources or write research papers? If so, the Auraria Library teaching team wants to help.

Just one 75-minute library-instruction class can go a long way to better prepare your students to find, evaluate and use information for their research assignments — preparing them to be critical-information consumers and creators.

When you request a library-instruction class, the teaching team works with you to create a student-centered, course-integrated lesson plan. Together, you’ll discuss how best to align the session’s outcomes with the learning outcomes of your assignment. The resulting lesson plan can include a presentation outline and various learning activities. We do all the work!

Typically, classes are held at the library, but we can visit your classroom as well. Is your class online? No problem. The library has great options for engaging online classes through Blackboard integration and multimedia learning activities.
