Interim VP of administration announced

George Middlemist named acting head of Administration, Finance and Facilities Branch at MSU Denver.

Following the departure of Steve Kreidler, Associate Vice President for Administration/CFO George Middlemist has been tapped to serve as Metropolitan State University of Denver’s interim vice president for administration.

The announcement comes after President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., met with the Administration, Finance and Facilities Branch July 3.

“I appreciate the opportunity from President Davidson to represent the branch and our continued initiatives,” Middlemist said. “We’ll continue striving to meet the needs of our MSU Denver community without any sacrifice in our level of service.”

The University will seek faculty input on the search launching later next month for a permanent VP. Stay tuned to the Early Bird for information on the search committee and process as it becomes available.
