From your Early Bird crew to you, thanks for a great year of engagement – and all that’s yet to come.

A question we often get asked is “Who is the Early Bird?”

More than a single person, there’s a group of folks behind the scenes who provide words, videos, images and ideas to the daily production of Metropolitan State University of Denver’s employee communication platform.

That involves many of us here in the Marketing and Communications department – but there’s also one key contributor the Early Bird couldn’t exist without: you.

Thanks to you, we’re able to celebrate the accomplishments of our amazing Roadrunner community. This includes the scholarly excellence of our faculty, the outpouring of support for our first-generation students with the “I’m First Gen Too” campaign and counting down the top five stories of the week in our Roadrunner Rewinds.

Oh, and if you haven’t noticed, our president is a rock-climbing rock star, too.

You told us what you like and where you’d like to see changes, which guides our strategy for sharing information – a process we’re committed to continually improving and one that relies on your regular feedback. 

Because telling the MSU Denver story is part of the University’s strategic plan. And because you’re the ones creating transformation on a daily basis.

It’s our distinct privilege to help share those stories, throughout the summer, into the 2018-19 academic year and well beyond.

So, who is the Early Bird?
