GraduationCommencement is the culmination of our students’ hard work – a celebration of what it means to be a Roadrunner.

It’s also one of the largest events of the University, which is why it’s important to know a few key facts to ensure that everyone has as seamlessly and stress-free a time as possible.

Location: Commencement will take place at the Denver Coliseum, 4600 Humboldt St., on May 11.

Ceremonies: The morning ceremony, starting at 9 a.m., is for the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and the School of Education; the afternoon ceremony at 3 p.m. will honor graduates from the College of Business and the College of Professional Studies. Please plan on ample travel time, as traffic and construction may affect transit. All graduates should arrive no later than 90 minutes before their ceremony.

Parking: Denver Coliseum parking will cost $10.

Public transit: You can also take bus and train service to Commencement. Consult the Regional Transportation District’s trip planner for details.

Social media: Take part in the graduation festivities with the #MSUDenverGrad hashtag.

Webcast: For those who can’t make the ceremony, make sure to follow along via a live stream of the proceedings on the Commencement website.
