President Davidson featured at statewide higher-education forum

Upcoming Colorado Business Roundtable event to discuss partnerships, strategy, value to students.

March 29, 2018

Dr. Janine Davidson speaking to a crowd at a podium Metropolitan State University of Denver President Janine Davidson, Ph.D., will take part in the upcoming Colorado Business Roundtable State of Higher Education Forum on April 4 at History Colorado.

The forum will focus on the changing nature of higher education, successful business collaborations, the responsiveness required of modern institutions and the value proposition for students.

This echoes the vision Davidson laid out for MSU Denver, helping students hold the line on achieving the American dream by demonstrating what she called the “Roadrunner Difference.” These five characteristics – diversity, tenacity, purpose, entrepreneurship and being primed – are what employers have come to expect from University graduates and, as she said in a January Denver Post article, why “MSU Denver (is) poised to answer the call for more Colorado degrees.”

Davidson will be joined by Chancellor Rebecca Chopp of the University of Denver, President Tony Frank of Colorado State University and Chancellor Phil DiStefano of the University of Colorado Boulder.

MSU Denver is a sponsor of this event, which will be moderated by Debbie Hughes, vice president, Higher Education and Workforce, from the Business Higher Education Forum.

The luncheon is open to the public, but reservations are required. Tickets are $75.
