A test students will love

How to help students get a better understanding of themselves and their passions.

March 6, 2018

Students and recruiters at a recent job fair.MSU Denver’s Career Services offers several assessments to help students understand how their personal attributes might influence their career decisions.

For a small fee, tools such as the Strong Interest Inventory, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and StrengthsFinder, can be useful in helping students narrow down majors and future career options.

Trained career counselors interpret assessment results and provide guidance on how students can use the information to move forward in their career planning. Assessments are not intended to be “crystal balls,” but help uncover attributes a student may not have considered when making career choices.

Contact our office to conduct an interpretation workshop for a whole class or student group. This month, students can also get a free gift when they sign up for one of the remaining spring interpretation workshops.
