MSU Denver Day at the Capitol correction

Here's how you can participate on March 7.

MSU Denver employees are invited to attend MSU Denver Day at the Capitol March 7.

An earlier version of this story provided incorrect information about the leave policy and guidance for participating employees.

Employees are welcome to attend and learn more about operations and processes at the Capitol and how to advocate for MSU Denver.  However, state employees cannot lobby for an issue on behalf of MSU Denver or themselves during work time. See the Guidelines on Political Activity and Lobbying for Metropolitan State University of Denver Employees.

Because this event is during a normal work day, employees who wish to attend must take paid time off to do so.

The event, which is hosted by MSU Denver Champions, is free.
