MSU Denver employees can attend Jan. 23 men’s and women’s basketball games.

MSU Denver basketball playerEmployees can attend MSU Denver’s Jan. 23 basketball games free as part of Roadrunner Athletics’ Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day.

The games, which pit the Roadrunners vs. the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, are also part of Athletics’ “We Back Pat” activities, which support the Pat Summitt Foundation in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Tanya Haave, head coach of women’s team, played for Summitt during her college career.

The women’s game tips off at 5 p.m. and the men’s team tips off at 7:30 p.m. at the Auraria Events Center.

The men’s game will air on the Comcast CET Sports channel.

Here’s how to get your free tickets:

  1. Visit
  2. Select either men's or women's basketball game on Tuesday, Jan. 23. (Employees may attend both games with a ticket to either game.)
  3. Choose the number of tickets. Employees are welcome to bring friends and family, who also get free tickets.
  4. Enter the appropriate coupon code when checking out: Faculty or Staff.
