The MLK Peace Breakfast Committee needs your help to reach their goal of collecting 2,018 food items for our 2018 Service Drive.
The collection will benefit the MSU Denver Food Bank, which serves students who are in need of food and select personal-item assistance. Please drop off nonperishable food items at the donation stations listed below.
For 26 years, the campus community has come together in January to commemorate the philosophy, values and beliefs of the late Martin Luther King, Jr. at our annual Peace Breakfast. Each year, the committee creates a service opportunity for participants to give back to the community. In addition to the Food Bank collection, participants are invited to join us while we march in Denver’s annual Marade, the downtown Denver parade on Jan. 15.
Final drop-off date for the Food Bank collection is during the MLK Peace Breakfast in Tivoli Turnhalle on Jan. 12.
