Students at Financial AidThe Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is pleased to announce the availability of the 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Since Oct. 1, students have been able to apply for federal financial aid at fafsa.gov for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 terms. The 2018-19 FAFSA is based on 2016 federal income-tax information.

In other news, the IRS Data Retrieval Tool has returned. Students and parents can submit federal tax information via the IRS DRT directly to the FAFSA for streamlined processing.

We are also offering a couple of great options to assist our students and families who are completing the FAFSA:

  • One-on-one FAFSA help every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (Student Success Building, Counter 6). We are excited to have a new partner in financial-aid services to students: the TRIO Equal Opportunity Center (EOC). EOC representatives will be available to help students and families one-on-one with the FAFSA form. Students may walk in or contact us at 303-556-8593 to schedule an appointment.
  • FAFSA Workshops every Friday through Nov. 10 at SSB second Floor. The Student Academic Success Center and the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships are teaming up to hold open FAFSA workshops. Times vary. Please call 303-556-4048 for more information.
