The MSU Denver Alumni Association’s innovative program The MSU Denver Mug Club supports student scholarships by combining two things that everyone loves: MSU Denver and Tivoli Beer.
Launched on Feb. 18, the Mug Club has exceeded expectations. Six months into the program, the Mug Club has more than 200 members, which includes students, alumni, faculty, staff, community members and President Janine Davidson. The club has generated nearly $10,000 in scholarship and program funds.
Starting this fall, proceeds from Mug Club memberships will directly benefit MSU Denver students through the Mug Club Reach-a-Roadrunner Call Center Scholarship. The Reach-a-Roadrunner Call Center is a student-staffed alumni call center in the Student Success Building. Student-callers fundraise for MSU Denver by calling alumni to ask them about their University experience and inform them about new programs and events on campus. Each semester, two exceptional student-callers will be awarded a combined total of $1,500 through this scholarship.
Purchase a Mug Club lifetime membership TODAY – benefits include a custom MSU Denver Mug Club mug, $1 off Tivoli beer at the Tivoli Tap House, and invites to exclusive monthly Faculty/Staff Mug Club Happy Hours where you will receive $2 off Tivoli beer, free appetizers and the opportunity to talk with fellow Roadrunners.
