MSU Denver Provost Vicki Golich will serve as acting president July 1–21.

The time span of Golich’s acting presidency covers the day after President Stephen M. Jordan’s retirement date (June 30), until the University’s newly appointed president, Janine Davidson, takes over on July 24, 2017.

Golich will have authority during this time period to take action on matters than cannot wait until President Davidson assumes her role.

“Once again, we say a fond farewell to Dr. Jordan, who did so much to bring MSU Denver into a place of preeminence,” Golich says. “As we look forward to the new leadership and new visions of Dr. Davidson, I am happy to serve MSU Denver in any way that is helpful.”
