Kevin Taylor steps into full-time role as CIO/AVP of information technology services.
June 21, 2017

Kevin Taylor has accepted the position of chief information officer and associate vice president for information technology services, starting July 3, 2017. Previously serving as both interim CIO/AVP of ITS and director of application services, Taylor originally joined ITS application services in October 2014, as associate director.
According to Vicki Golich, provost and vice president of academic and student affairs, Taylor was drawn to Metropolitan State University of Denver because of its urban location and its focus on student-centered education.
“His work in application services has concentrated on improving the student experience throughout a student’s lifetime at MSU Denver – recruitment, as a student, and as alumni,” she said. “He has overseen the work on many projects related to student success and is deeply committed to MSU Denver’s mission and core values.”
Prior to coming to MSU Denver, Taylor served as the director of information technology and CIO at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
