MSU Denver listed in ‘Creative Colleges 2017’; Kulkarni interviewed on Fox 31 and also wins Pravasi Rattan Award.

Metropolitan State University of Denver has been included in the 2017 edition of “Creative Colleges.”

The publication features advice from professionals, students and admissions directors for college-bound students pursuing the creative arts in the United States. The book includes tips on auditioning and preparing portfolios, as well as how to prepare and present artist statements, admissions essays and artistic resumes.

More than 275 schools are featured in “Creative Colleges 2017” and were selected based on the strength of the creative programs offered.

Kishore G. Kulkarni, Ph.D., a faculty member of MSU Denver, was interviewed by Channel 31, KDVR Fox News network in April. The television station wanted expert commentary on tax changes proposed by the Trump Administration. Kulkarni is professor of economics and chief editor of “International Review of Business and Economics.”

Kulkarni also was selected by the NRI Welfare Society to receive the Pravasi Rattan Award, at the Global Indian Conclave on International Economic Development on May 27, 2017, in Bangkok, Thailand.
