Congress on Research in Education

Faculty from every college and school within the University recently attended the 14th Puerto Rican Congress on Research in Education at the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras. The conference is every two years and attracts faculty and staff in education from North America, South America and Europe. The congress includes a wide variety of educational presentation tracts, and MSU Denver attendees took part in several. In addition to their daily panels, Executive Director of the Office of International Studies Akbarali Thobhani and Education associate professors Carmen Sanjurjo and Jan Perry Evenstad were keynote speakers at the conference’s Wednesday opening ceremonies.
