What to expect, when you’re expecting an accreditation visit

The Higher Learning Commission makes its site visit April 10-11. Attend a prep meeting and then come to an open forum. See the full schedule.

April 10, 2017

To prepare the MSU Denver community for the Higher Learning Commission’s site visit, accreditation committee cochairs Bernice Harris and Nate Grimm will host a series of preparation meetings. Each 45-minute session will cover what to expect when the five HLC reviewers come to campus on April 10 and 11. Everyone — faculty, office staff, chairs, directors and administrators — should plan to attend one of these meetings.

During the HLC’s site visit, there will be open forums based on five criteria (see the schedule below), and there will be two drop-in sessions as well for faculty, staff or students who may wish to speak privately with members of the review team. The locations will be announced soon.
