MSU Denver’s web presence will undergo a functional facelift next week. Launching on Monday, the University rolls out a new design approach for its homepage and academic pages. The broadsheet blend of branded information will highlight student stories, university data through infographics, and serve as a port of entry for everything MSU Denver. “The refreshed design is consistent with our new Run Your Own Road campaign, and demonstrates MSU Denver’s unique value and role in the community,” said Chief of Staff and Chief Communications Officer Cathy Lucas.
Keeping with President Stephen Jordan’s vision to become the “preeminent urban university in the nation,” the refresh will reflect a contemporary aesthetic with cross-platform responsive functionality. That means whether you’re viewing the site on a desktop, tablet or mobile device, content is conveniently located beneath your fingertips (or cursor).
As part of the launch, the University will also unveil an external-facing story stream known as The Insider. An update to the current Newsroom structure, The Insider will feature in-depth reporting to both engage current constituents and build MSU Denver’s prominence under a brand journalism model. Media outlets and interested parties alike will be able to connect with subject matter experts to tap into the ever-expanding network of Roadrunners doing great things in the Denver community (and beyond).
