The Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) Quick Start Program is designed to help students complete the necessary college prerequisites for Reading and English in one semester. The Quick Start program provides MSU Denver students with a pair of connected classes presented in an academically demanding, fast paced, in class and on-line format. This allows students to take Reading and/or English 060 and 090 in one semester. During the first eight weeks of the semester, students will take Reading and/or English 060 and the second eight weeks of the semester students will take Reading and/or English 090. Students who participate in the program will need to have access to a computer since the program includes both in class and on-line instruction. Each class equals 3 credit hours*.
*Student Success course – Students in specified cohorts are required to enroll in a one credit hour Student Success course that teaches students how to navigate college through lessons in time management, study skills, learning styles, and more.
