Develop numerical modeling for geotechnical engineering applications and solid/rock mechanics-related engineering applications such as: static/dynamic analyses of slope stability, bearing capacity, excavations, landslide, avalanche, rock falls; foundation studies; retaining structure studies; impact/collision mechanics analyses; modeling of granular material processing and handling; soil/structure, fluid/structure interaction analyses; constitution modeling of geo-materials, analyses of engineering properties of soil and rock; membrane structure analyses. Provide technical support and numerical analyses in various geotechnical projects.

Current/Selected Projects

o Soil Nail Analysis Program (SNAP), sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD)
o The Colorado Rockfall Simulation Program (CRSP) – 5th Edition, sponsored by the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD)
