Personal Biography

Dr. Andrew Holt is a professor of accounting at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He previously held positions at Kingston University, Gloucestershire University and the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom (UK). Andrew obtained his PhD in accounting at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK. He also holds an MSc in Accounting from the LSE and a BA (Hons) in Accounting from Kingston Polytechnic, UK. Since then, Dr. Holt assisted the UK's Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with the development of a new professional Code of Practice on Service Charge management (2011). He has just submitted the manuscript for the 3rd edition of "Business Accounting, which updates the 2nd edition of a co-authored textbook published by Palgrave Macmillan in August 2012. To-date, the textbook has been adopted by institutions in the UK, India, Pakistan, China, Canada, and the US. The 3rd edition will be published in late 2017/early 2018.
